This quote, by Tim Burton, spoke so clearly to me.
My obsession with hair started at a young age, along with the many colours I have applied to my own locks, hair has continued to be one of my favourite things to illustrate throughout my career.
I can pinpoint exactly where it started. I had a book that featured a girl with magical rainbow hair and 20 years on I would always return to my memories of the illustrations that were in that book, using them as inspiration for the many colourful hairstyles I have drawn.
I have searched and searched for the book online but couldn’t remember what it was called.
Then one late night Pinterest session there she was. Lady Lovely Locks & the Pixietails.
