ABOUT
Sally Faye is an artist and creative working across art, interiors and visual storytelling.
THE IDEA
A creative life in progress, bringing together illustration, painting, interiors, symbolism and the everyday things that shape a visual world.
THE BEGINNING
Originally trained in surface pattern and printed textiles, Sally went on to build a career in fashion and beauty illustration, working with brands including L’Oréal, GHD and Benefit Cosmetics, and publishing All Black Everything in 2019.
THE SHIFT
Over time, the work expanded beyond illustration. Renovating homes, styling spaces and becoming a mother gradually changed the way creativity showed up, less as one discipline, more as a way of seeing and making.
THE CURIOUS
In 2024, that evolution became particularly visible through the interiors of The Curious office. Sally curated and designed the space, bringing together colour, art, furniture, texture and brand identity, a natural progression from creating imagery to shaping an entire environment.

NOW
Today, Sally’s practice is returning to physical art through painting, while continuing to explore interiors, creative direction, symbolism and visual storytelling.
BELIEFS
Creativity doesn’t have to fit neatly into one medium.
A personal style is built slowly, through curiosity, experimentation and lived experience.
Past work doesn’t need to be discarded to make room for what comes next.
